Pats were using a 3-4 to start the game, Raiders got the running game going. Then the Pats went to a 4-3 and essentially shut Oakland's offense down.

The last TD Oak scored was a garbage one in the end.

If you really knew football you would have noticed yet another example of great coaching and adjusting game plans.

Oh and nice one by the Birds the other night. But I notice your not talking about that one.

Don't know why ppl joke about 49ers winning super bowl.. and no they arent the worst team in the NFL, they are 1-0 so any team that is 0-1 are worse then them technically since 49ers played a decent team (st louis) and won... even tho bulger had 360 some yards... and football changes every year.. NO team sucks every year..

There isn't a single team in the NFC West capable of winning the Super Bowl, the 49ers included. They are going to be better, Mike Nolan is going to make sure of that. Alex Smith will be starting by mid-year, and they'll develop a core around him. But they don't have the experience, or the talent to match the top contenders in the conference... much less the top teams in the AFC, which is still the dominant conference. They wouldn't have a prayer against the Patriots, Colts, or Steelers.

how does cowboys suck? they beat the chargers ( who almost beaten the Jets last year, and the jets almost beat the steelers, err tied.. if their kicker, whatever his name was made the field goal at the end..).. Also, drew bledsoe, was named offensive player of the week(nfc)

Well we all know that there really is only ONE football team in Texas right? That's right baby... the San Antonio Saints! :P God I hope their owner has enough integrity to keep them in New Orleans. They are going to need their team more than ever over the next couple years. I think this year, everyone is going to be a little bit of a Saints fan.

I think the Saints are either going to rally around each other and the crisis in their hometown and do very well.... or they will eventually fold under the pressure and collapse. It's going to be extreme in either case. I don't really see another 8-8 season from them.
